The JCU Tax Clinic is part of the National Tax Clinic Program which is funded by the Commonwealth Government. There are 14 other clinics operated by universities across Australia. The Clinic is a part-time student-run clinic providing free advice from JCU taxation students under the supervision of experienced accountants. The service is available for eligible people of the community who are currently not represented by a tax agent and are experiencing financial hardship.
