Papers

The theme of the Conference is Can we ever get tax right?  Papers and panels could consider:

  • the impacts of, pressures on, and changes to, domestic and international tax law;

  • tax teaching;

  • tax clinics;

  • domestic and international tax administration and emerging technology;

  • cross and inter-disciplinary research into tax;

  • tax experts and public communication; and

  • any other papers relating to tax.

Papers that are accepted for presentation at the Conference will need to be submitted by:

  • Friday, 20 December 2024 for prize consideration; and

  • Monday, 6 January 2025 for inclusion in the Conference programme.

Abstracts

The theme of the Conference is Can we ever get tax right?  Papers and panels could consider:

  • the impacts of, pressures on, and changes to, domestic and international tax law;

  • tax teaching;

  • tax clinics;

  • domestic and international tax administration and emerging technology;

  • cross and inter-disciplinary research into tax;

  • tax experts and public communication; and

  • any other papers relating to tax.

We encourage papers on the Conference theme, but welcome papers on any aspect of taxation, including the scholarship of tax teaching and learning. Please submit your abstract by Monday, 30 September 2024.


You will be advised of the outcome of your submission by Wednesday, 16 October 2024.

Papers that are accepted for presentation at the Conference will need to be submitted by:

  • Friday, 20 December 2024 for prize consideration; and

  • Monday, 6 January 2025 for inclusion in the Conference programme.

Scholarship Applications

ATTA is pleased to announce its scholarship opportunity for 3 PhD students to attend the 2025 ATTA Conference.

The scholarship includes full access to all conference sessions. Please note that travel expenses (such as flights and accommodation) and social events are not covered by the scholarship.

If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please apply by Monday, 14 October 2024 and arrange for your PhD supervisor to complete a Supervisor Report by Monday, 21 October 2024.
